About

Engaging in meaningful therapy is a courageous step and my goal is to create a protective space for you to tell your story. The foundation of effective therapy begins with building a safe and trusting relationship with my clients. Much of my experience has been helping clients work through challenging mood states such as depression and anxiety, as well as those facing unhealthy relationship patterns or family stressors. Clients might enter therapy to adjust to life transitions or work through tough decisions. I provide trauma-informed therapy, and I specialize in grief counseling.

I am client-centered and strength-based in my approach. In therapy, we will consider life history and how it shapes us. We will explore the roadblocks and patterns that become difficult to manage. I will provide insight and feedback that can be put into action, and pay close attention to my client's goals and intentions.

I work with individuals and couples at varying age groups. Each developmental stage comes with its revelations and challenges. A core aspect of my approach is honoring social and cultural context, as our unique identities play a powerful role. With kindness, increased awareness, self-reflection, and insight - meaningful work will be accomplished.
