About

If autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is why you found me here at Psychology Today, I am so glad you did. But I really want you to know why YOU should be happy too. As you know, our neurodivergent teens need our help—yours, mine, and the help of so many others. I know because not only am I an ASD Clinical Specialist, I’m a mother of two boys with ASD. So, finding me here, you’ve taken a large step in getting the assistance your family needs from someone that shares your story, knows your needs, your wants, and your desires. In other words, you’re not alone. Your family is not alone, and importantly, your autistic child is not alone. View 5 Photos

To further help you, I am also part of a community of practitioners and other amazing groups dedicated to assisting families with ASD. That means, aside from counseling teens and young adults, I can assist you and your neurodivergent teen in many other ways such as with accessing the system of resources and support so many find difficult to navigate.

With that said, please accept my invitation to come along on my journey assisting as many neurodivergent teens and young adults as I can. But also, as their parents, I know we often need counseling too. Be assured then, I’m here for you as well. So, please visit my website, learn about me, and reach out with an email—I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
