I'm a licensed psychotherapist providing mental health and substance abuse recovery counseling to adults and adolescents in the Racine and Kenosha WI areas. I take a special interest in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and emotion regulation. I use an array of therapy approaches specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and DBT. I have 15 years of collaborative experience working in the social services and mental health fields. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2015 in various service areas such as psychiatric crisis care and outpatient and in-home services. As a your therapist I intend to meet you where you are. I have worked with a range of populations from small children to geriatric age and have experience with people in different stages of therapy. I have facilitated group therapy in an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospital setting. I have extensively worked with acute diagnoses such as Schizophrenia and Bipolar and also clients with PTSD and trauma. I know that with depression brings poor motivation and the lack of will to trudge forward. That being said, I am ready to stand in place with you and help you put one foot in front of the other to get moving again. I believe that light does exist at the end of the tunnel. Mental wellness means daily effort and all inklings of hope that things do get better.
