About

My goal is in helping the client through a creative approach in meeting the individual needs to create positive life changes. The ability to change is embedded in all clients and through the client/counselor relationship the client is able to gain the tools to make positive changes in his or her life in order to live a more happy and serene life. Counseling is the door to creating positive change in anyone who has the willingness to explore the therapeutic process. I work with children, adolescents, and adults.

I approach counseling with the mindset that in order to maintain an effective counseling relationship, I must first develop a positive rapport with the client. This then creates a positive relationship with the client and the strong bond is able to be created so progress in the counseling journey begins.

"Progress. Just make progress. It's okay to have setbacks and do-overs. It's okay to draw a line in the sand, and start over again. Just make sure you're moving the line forward. Take baby steps.... Then change will come. And it will be good." - Lysa Terkearst
