About

Therapy is a partnership between the client and the therapist, and I feel honored when I am allowed to walk the path towards hope, empowerment and healing with another individual. You deserve someone who sees you, and will listen with an empathetic and non-judgmental ear. Life itself can be a struggle at times, and part of my role is to help you to recognize your strengths and assist you with concrete tools. For Black and Brown folks, as well as the LGBTQIA community, the stress can be overwhelming. It is ok, and at times necessary, to have that safe place, and safe person to hear you out. You are worth it!

My approach is strengths based, which means that I believe that everyone comes to the table with a set of assets regardless of their background, mental health, or current issues or struggles. I specialize in working with trauma, and family of origin issues, among others. I have over 15 years in clinical practice. You deserve someone with this experience.

Having experienced my own personal journey, I can attest to the power of therapy. The first step is deciding that you want your life to be different. It is a courageous choice to make, and one that offers a lifetime of hope and freedom. Feel free to contact me for a free consultation.
