My passion lies in assisting clients in cultivating a profound understanding of themselves by exploring their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions. I advocate for the development of these qualities as a foundation for fostering healthy relationships, particularly when applied to marriage and parenting. In my therapeutic practice, I employ a range of modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focus Therapy (EFT) for couples, and Gottman Therapy. My guiding philosophy revolves around walking alongside individuals and couples as they embark on their healing journey. For couples, my approach emphasizes self-discovery, healthy communication, vulnerability, and intimacy, physically and emotionally. For individual clients I focus more on evidence-based methods and skills for grappling with issues such as anxiety, depression, and traumatic experiences. Drawing from my military service, I am attuned to challenges facing Vets.
