My name is Tomeka A Bridges and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). I earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and General Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. My counseling experience includes over ten years providing individual, couples and group therapy to adults, adolescents and children in both office and telehealth settings. My goal in working with clients is to empower them to discover their inner strength so they can increase their joy, happiness, purpose and connection with others. Our first session together will include me empathetically listening to you to develop a better understanding of your challenges. We will discuss your goals for therapy and I will answer any questions you have for me or about the therapeutic process. My greatest strength is my desire to understand clients. I recognize clients have within them what is needed to make changes and improve their overall well-being. Oftentimes clients are not aware of their inner strength because they are weighed down by experiences.
