I am trained in Marriage and Family Therapy. My work is primarily with couples and the dance they create that is unique to them. Each couple is unique so I try to individualize the ongoing treatment. Families come in to clear up communication and better understand how each person fits into the family dance and how all the moving parts have to have a pattern that defines this family. Each family creates its own ballet! My specialty is to help guide individuals and couples to understand who they are and how their actions affect each other. Looking at how we impact the systems we live in is important for our personal growth. Being responsible for our actions and how they impact others is critical to self growth. The unique specialty in my practice is to help people look at the family they grew up in. My question of " How did you learn to be you" delves into your family and all the other significant people in your lives that contributed to the make up of "YOU".
