Client will learn to manage personal conflicts such as relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and losses or grief. We encourage clients to self-disclose freely and will educate to cope with stressors and strained relationships. We will discuss engaging in social opportunities, whether with family, friends, church, or community service options. Prayer or a spiritual approach are welcome and encouraged. My experience has been that the use of Cognitive Therapy is especially helpful for mood disturbances such as anxiety and depression. Focusing on communication techniques can greatly improve relationships. I like to encourage healthy living and meaningful relationships. We will address issues assertively in order to make substantial progress and bring relief as soon as possible. We are centrally located near 48th and Normal Blvd., on the bus line, and the bike path!
