My primary goal is to facilitate the positive development of children and adolescents. I work with children, adolescents, families and professionals to identify areas of difficulty and goals to improve functioning. Goals may be related to improving school performance, social skills, emotional or mood related difficulities, anxiety, or developmental disabilities. Once goals are identified, important skills are taught that will help children/adolescents adjust to home and school. This can be accomplished through a variety of services that include evaluations, psychotherapy, and family consultation or coaching. I have spent the entirety of my career focusing on the needs and healthy development of children and adolescents. I am most interested in early intervention in order to establish a positive psychological basis for individuals as they develop into adulthood. I am very comfortable working with children of all ages. I am respectful, attentive, and honest. I believe in working closely with families so that learned skills can be maintained within the home environment. I also collaborate with schools and other professionals involved with a child/adolescent as needed.
