Mrs. Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 15 years of clinical experience treating various mental health, adjustment, and life-transitional concerns with clients of all ages and backgrounds. In addition to being an LPC, Mrs. Williams is also a Board Qualified Supervisor (BQS) for licensure supervision of LPCs, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Board Certified TeleMental Health (BC-TMH) provider. Her clinical expertise includes the assessment and treatment of various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), substance abuse, and insomnia.

Mrs. Williams is a subject-matter expert on the treatment of PTSD and is certified in several first-line evidence-based psychotherapies (EBPs) for PTSD, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET).

She has also received advanced training in Cognitive-Behavioral Conjoint Therapy for PTSD (CBCT), an evidence-based approach for treating PTSD that includes patients’ family members in the treatment process. Additionally, Mrs. Williams is an experienced provider for victims of military sexual trauma (MST) and race-based stress and trauma.
