About

I am experienced in helping with a variety of issues from: anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, interpersonal relationship issues, and chronic disease (cancer, Long COVID, Ehlers Danlos, Lyme Disease, etc.). I believe a person is a multifaceted mosaic of influences and experiences that brought them to where they are today. My style and modality of therapy is to come along side of you in order to help you uncover the deeper meaning and root causes of your distress without judgment. I offer kindness and warmth in my approach, allowing you to feel at ease and empowered in whatever issues you are facing.

I have extensive training in trauma/emotion focused therapy modalities and received EMDR and DBT training which are evidenced based treatments to address complex PTSD. I also really enjoy working with individuals, couples, as well as adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, identity issues, Autism, ADHD, and addictions to substances.

My approach to therapy is a combination of person centered and psychodynamic approaches. I want to help you address the root of your distress. My philosophy is that I believe we all have a great ability to heal ourselves if we are given the right tools and environment that is safe and honoring of both person and process.
