About

My primary goal as a clinical psychologist is to help patients develop more fulfilling, meaningful and rewarding relationships through evidence-based treatment. My approach to healing integrates principles of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and interpersonal therapy (IPT). I work collaboratively with individuals to create a safe space and a therapeutic alliance where clients identify aspects of life that are causing difficulties and symptoms. CBT and IPT enable clients to uncover and to change unhelpful patterns of social behavior, distortions of thought, and to improve present day coping skills and management of emotions.

I have integrated helpful psychotherapy methods that promote psychological wellness and positive outcomes. Problems that I have helped clients overcome include anxiety disorders, excessive guilt, depression, relationship conflicts, PTSD, trauma, poor self-esteem, addictive disorders, work related burnout, and emotional storminess.

Treatment begins with a confidential assessment and the development of shared treatment goals designed to improve your quality of life. My approach promotes the strength and vision to change and to improve relationship patterns involving guilt, worry, self-doubt, and conflict. Contact me to work towards improved health and wellness.
