Thomas Galten is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and clinical substance abuse counselor (CSAC) working with individual adults, couples and families with children. He has been practicing since 1994, when he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a master’s degree in social work (MSW). Tom’s therapy style is relaxed and reflective and he seeks always to create and encourage an atmosphere of trust, good will and rapport with those who come to him for counseling. He is client-centered and strengths-based and believes in the client’s capacity to achieve higher levels of empowerment, freedom, happiness. Tom conducts therapy with individuals, couples and families from a widely diverse cultural background. He is accustomed to addressing all concerns which people typically bring to counseling, including depression, anxiety, drug/alcohol abuse, couples’ issues, parent/child concerns and bereavement.
