Hello, my name is Theresa Weise, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. I have over 14 years of therapy experience working primarily with adults and couples. I take a very client-centered and compassionate approach. I feel that the client can be their own best expert but that sometimes life circumstances interfere with that knowledge. I will work side by side with you to empower you to become your own best self and reconnect you to their own intuition. I take a very client-centered approach that also includes solutions-focused and cognitive behavioral therapies. I am a true believer in mindfulness and how tuning into your own intuition can assist in reaching your goals. I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are trying to reach their goals and walk through difficult times to get to the other side. I love asking the questions that stir thought and bring conclusions that may otherwise feel unknown. I have a very strong LGBTQ presence in my community and enjoy working with others to gain their own presence.
