My clinical experiences have involved working with adults and adolescents impacted by mental health disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Within these age ranges, I have worked with the following populations: veterans, military, military families, civilians, neurodivergent, minority, unsheltered and unhoused, and LGBTQIA2S+. I am also a sex-positive, kink- and poly- friendly therapist. I incorporate evidence-based strategies from a person centered, trauma informed, and integrative lens to aid in meeting your unique needs. This means I aim to empower individuals to make their own choices about aims for therapy and the pace. This also means I avoid pathologizing behaviors and feelings that could be the result of trauma. I believe in teaching you the tools that will guide you in learning more about yourself; and then, ultimately guide you towards accomplishing the growth you want to accomplish even after therapy ends. I believe that good therapists give others the confidence and means to heal themselves, and finally become independent of them.
