About

At times throughout our lives we may find ourselves feeling lost or confused due to sudden changes, uncertainty, or the inability to move forward. Understanding who and what shaped our lives as well as how those influences continue to impact us is empowering. Therapy is an excellent way to clarify our thoughts and understand our emotions in order to reach a healthy life balance. It can help us move from feeling helpless or hopeless to developing insight, daring, and resilience. The therapeutic process can instill a level of self-confidence and self-awareness inspiring us to become our ideal self.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor, I practice a person-centered therapeutic approach from a feminist, trauma-informed, empowerment perspective. My work focuses on women facing challenges such as ADHD, trauma, relationships, domestic abuse, depression, anxiety, and gender issues.

I exclusively offer teletherapy as a safe and convenient option with nontraditional afternoon, evening, and late week night with limited weekend appointments. Email is an excellent way to ensure the most timely response and I make every attempt to respond within 2-3 days. I also offer a brief, no cost telephone consult as a first step toward change.
