About

I am working towards a sex therapy certification and welcome potential sex therapy clients. I specialize in helping adult clients connect more honestly and compassionately to themselves and others. This results in enhanced interpersonal effectiveness, stronger emotional boundaries, decreased anxiety, effective management of life events, and increased overall life satisfaction. With me, you will identify the origins of your emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns, learn about how your body and mind work, explore, tolerate, and manage uncomfortable emotions, be empowered to make deliberate choices, and grow the skills to do so.

My training as a family therapist means that the relationships and experiences that have shaped you remain central, and my work is trauma-informed, highly relational, and evidence-based. I have have advanced training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, EMDR, DBT, Nonviolent Communication, perinatal mental health, systemic supervision, and sex therapy.

I believe that growth happens where safety and challenge meet, and in working with you, my goal is to find that sweet spot. My practice is LGBTQ affirmative and sex positive and whoever you are, you will be treated with respect, humor, and compassion. Therapy can be fun and I'm looking forward to meeting you!
