About

Hello, my name is Thasja Hoffmann, I am an LMFT & LPCC trauma-focused therapist. I have had over 20 years of experience, and I still feel very passionate about what I do. My main approach to therapy is to slow your experience down and help you notice what you are experiencing through Meta-awareness modalities and Mindfulness. I also find Somatic and EMDR approaches very helpful in processing information. My foundation in how I work comes from Humanistic/ Existential Psychology.

I understand depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. I am very comfortable working with attachment needs, believing that each person has a need for early attachment repair. A main goal of mine is to provide a safe environment for you. I do like to focus on our inner child, so my room is inner child friendly.

I think like many therapists I have had my own journey of healing to do. I listen to what I hear you would like to address, i.e.: what feels stuck, what is bothering you day to day, what thoughts are interfering with your ability to be present. We explore what is needed and come up with a plan.
