About

I believe that persons seeking counseling for any reason are asking themselves, “Who am I?” Professional counseling helps you return to the authentic self that you were born with before life experiences pulled you away from it. My two-pronged job is to provide you with support and challenge to help you clear away the confusion and to find your authentic self again. Therefore, I ask you to bring to our sessions the thing that is generating the most energy for you that day; the good, the bad, and the ugly. It may not seem to apply to the reason that you started therapy, but it will. Because everything matters. View 6 Photos

My passion is counseling adults, especially women, who are coping with DEPRESSION, with GRIEF, with CHALLENGES and TRANSITIONS, and supporting them in the EMOTIONAL CHALLENGES that may follow. With your cooperation, and when necessary, that of other treatment professionals, it is my promise that we will do everything possible to help you feel better.

My goal is to help you better understand your human experience so that you find the freedom you are seeking, learn to manage life's anxieties, and commit to your values based on your growing self-awareness. I see my role as one of therapist, guide, educator, and cheerleader on your road to healing. You want to change. Commit, and take that first step now.
