About

Terri Kisselovich is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California who has been practicing since 2005. She was awarded both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work at San Diego State University. Terri utilizes a framework of the biopsychosocial model, which looks at the “whole person,” meaning the connections between biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors. Life can be difficult sometimes, and everyone may need help navigating their path. Terri can help create a blueprint along this journey of healing using evidenced based practices of cognitive based therapy, dialectical based therapy.

She is also trained in play therapy. No telehealth appointments offered for ages 10-16, only in office appointments. Terri believes the connection between herself, and the client is crucial in treatment, and strives to create an atmosphere of safety, trust, acceptance, and compassion that can help a client along their path to healing.

Outside of work, Terri is an avid reader with an eclectic style in books. Some of her favorite authors include Stephen King and Fredrick Backman. In 2023, she is improving her own self-care goals, which includes journaling, spa treatments, going to the gym, and walking around her beautiful city with friends or her husband.
