Teri enjoys working with clients of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds, including parents, immigrants, children, teenagers, individuals who identify as LGBTQIA2S+, and many others. The only thing that her clients need to have in common is a desire to live their best lives. Many of Teri's clients struggle with feelings of anxiety, depression, and trauma without seeing a way past them. They are frustrated with their lives and are looking to make changes. Teri provides support in English and in Spanish. Teri uses an eclectic approach to her work with clients. With some clients, she focuses on thoughts and behaviors to identify obstacles and solutions. With others, she focuses on processing as a way to move forward. An example of this is her use of EMDR to help individuals struggling with trauma, as appropriate. Teri views clients as the experts on their own lives and empathizes with their struggles. She values their commitment to personal growth and seeks to empower clients by giving them the tools to find their own way forward in a safe and non-judgmental setting. Please reach out when you are ready to take the first step towards change.
