About

Making changes can be hard and finding a therapist can be overwhelming. I started working in this field over fifteen years ago to help people like you find a space that is welcoming and provides the safety needed to explore whatever it is you are facing. I believe that everyone has their own unique story, and that healing takes place in the rapport built between client and therapist. Therapy can help you become unstuck. It can help reveal patterns that are no longer useful and can help build resiliency. Seeking wellbeing is a courageous act and I do not take that lightly. I would be honored to explore how we might work together.

Issues explored include the sober curious, recovery from addictive disorders, self-esteem, identity development, boundaries, depression, anxiety, codependency and more. I work well with couples, individuals, young adults and the LGBTQI+ community. I work with families by referral or with an identified family member suffering from addiction.

I became a counselor because I have a heart for people. Helping people to change and see the possibilities for change as well as hope is a gift. It's your work, it's your story and you should come as you are! I identify as person in long term recovery, for me that means alcohol free for over 25 years.
