Therapists » Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
My journey began in the 1990s, working with traumatized children through art, dance, and music, and evolved through training in neurofeedback and neuroscience. I hold dual master’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy, and a doctoral degree in Somatic Depth Psychology. My research focuses on healing historical trauma in indigenous communities by reconnecting with traditional cultures. My professional background spans diverse settings including hospitals, jails, schools, and community treatment centers, allowing me to support individuals across a broad spectrum of ages, backgrounds, and needs. I enjoy working with people across diverse backgrounds, and age groups spanning the lifetime. I work best with people who are willing to "dive in" to deep discovery about themselves and the world, people navigating life transitions and changes in the world outside them. I strive to listen deeply and with curiosity and care to understand your unique situation. I like to give the people I work with good and helpful information, to help understand themselves better, to gain new perspectives, and to learn new skills.
