My name is Teresa Marksity-Leach and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed in the states of Illinois and Indiana. I have found my approach and strengths are with young adults and adults as who may be dealing with decisions and transitions in life that may feel overwhelming and take form in depression, anxiety, or disruption in various areas in their lives. I will work and support clients navigate these challenging periods in their lives, develop skills to support positive coping and self-worth that will lead to more positive outlook on life. My approach in therapy is client-centered and creating a therapeutic alliance Together through motivational interviewing we will determine goals, utilize various therapeutic interventions to find balance and healing their lives. My approach is a calm, curious, nonjudgmental and listening presence, allowing for opportunity to process feelings and emotions related to their personal story and needs.
