About

Seeking clarity? Therapy can allow you to identify and remove blocks inhibiting change, help you make more intentional choices by offering deeper awareness of your perspective, and/or help you construct coherency or a different view of issues that are plaguing you. While I enjoy working with clients of varying backgrounds and ages (and all are welcome in my practice), I specialize in working with those who are suffering from anxiety, trauma, complex trauma, sex- and sexuality-related concerns, and who are aged 15+. You can expect me to be observant, empathic, professional, ethical, responsive, and LGBTQ+ affirming.

I work with individuals, romantic partners, and families using a combination of bottom-up and top-down approaches. I strive for both compassion and progress, adjusting my approach to the person or people in front of me. Some people need greater gentleness, while others want to be challenged more, and most require some combination of both.

Seeking support is a sign of strength and a great way to take care of yourself. The couple and family therapy approach, which I operate from, takes into account the various contexts (e.g. family, school, etc.) that each of us interacts with, which offers a deeper understanding of identities, behaviors, and decisions.
