Sometimes we feel sad, lonely, anxious, scared, worried, angry or maybe even unsure exactly how we feel, but something feels off. Sometimes when we are really upset we start to feel physical symptoms in our bodies. Sometimes we can feel very irritable or even have outbursts of anger. Sometimes we just can’t stop thinking about something that happened and other times we don’t want to think about it at all. Sometimes we notice ourselves becoming disconnected from others or just not doing what we used to enjoy doing. Sometimes we can’t sleep even if we really want to and feel tired. View 4 Photos I have been a therapist for 10 years in a variety of settings doing individual therapy with adults and teens as well as family therapy. I am a Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist as well as SEP (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner). EMDR and SE work with the mind, body and nervous system to process stressors and trauma. I am here and ready to help you move through and process the difficult things that may have happened or are currently going on in your life. I offer a non-judgmental and open space for you to share, feel safe, and work on the things that make you the person you want to be.
