About

As a therapist, I believe that the soul, not the mind, can recognize your strength, potential and beauty within, and I am passionate about making these qualities visible to all. I provide individual psychotherapy to both adults and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, body image issues and eating disorders, trauma, and struggles with self-acceptance. Through our collaborative therapeutic journey together, I will help you learn new skills to improve the ways you move throughout the world. My ultimate goal is to provide you with a safe, accepting space, supporting you on your path to wellness and recovery.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and have experience with mood and anxiety disorders. I also have specialized training and experience in DBT and Cognitive Behavioral treatment techniques; these methods allow me to help my clients focus on the present moment and work through specific unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that cause them to feel stuck.

Choosing the path to therapy and recovery can be exciting and refreshing for some; for others it may feel overwhelming and scary. Both emotions are totally normal and no matter what your thoughts and feelings are, you are not alone. You have made the first step- you are here- and I am honored to join you on this journey! *ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS*
