Taylor Kemp is a Licensed Professional Counselor (Temp) being supervised by Dr. Charles Ihrig, PhD., LPC-MHSP. Taylor received his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University and has been working in the mental health field in both clinical and operational management roles for 5 years. Taylor is passionate about increasing access to mental health care and is excited to bring needed services to Memphis and the surrounding areas. As a clinician, Taylor practices as a generalist, seeing a wide variety of clients. He practices with a primary focus from a Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral approach. He has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and in the treatment of compulsive sexual behaviors. He is passionate about helping others walk through grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and stage of life issues. Taylor works with adolescents age 12+, teens, and adults. When he is not in the office Taylor enjoys spending time outdoors, finding new coffee shops, playing board games, watching soccer, and enjoying time with loved ones.
