Hello! My name is Taylor Heavey, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and have been providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples since 2016. My hope is to meet clients where they are at in their mental health journey, with a non-judgmental, compassionate and curious approach. I believe that each individual has their own unique story and, and therefore a unique approach to how they deal with life's stressors. I have worked with clients ranging from 2 years old to 80 years old. I have also worked both with individuals, as well as families and couples. At this time, due to meeting virtually, I feel I am best able to serve adolescents through adults, with those experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and disordered ways of thinking/coping. I knew I wanted to be a therapist from a young age. I have always been drawn towards hearing peoples' stories. I believe everyone has a unique story that deserves to be heard, and in the process of telling one's story, healing takes place, as we examine it with a lens of compassion.
