Each individual has the capacity to be the best version of themselves despite natural life stressors and events. I take a client centered approach to encourage and facilitate collaboration helping my clients navigate and overcome challenging life events, or the effects of mental health diagnosis and related concerns. Additionally, I have experience in treatment for Drug & Alcohol abuse and use disorders. I have a passion for mental health and enjoy working with individuals ages 12 and up. My core areas of specialty are: women’s issues, family conflict and resolution, interpersonal/intimate relationships, cultural issues within the Black/African American community, and general life stressors. However, I treat a wide variety of concerns in addition to these. It is my goal to help others discover that no one person is defined by their circumstances. Reach out and schedule a time to meet and explore how you can redefine yours.
