Tara is an Licensed Master's Social Worker. Tara enjoys working with children, adolescents, young adults and families, although she is open to working with all ages who come from different walks of life. She works with those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, familial challenges, and life transitions. Tara supports children and their families with behavioral challenges, school problems and guidance to parents. She is person-centered and uses creative approaches to meet individual needs.

Tara uses mindfulness, motivational interviewing, cognitive and dialectical behavioral techniques in session. When working with children, she uses play-based and expressive art techniques. She is interested in the mind-body connection.

Her person-centered style incorporates compassion, humor, and curiosity; she is focused on building a genuine working relationship. Tara’s approach to therapy is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can address their mental health needs without judgement.
