I am a champion of whole-body wellness and firmly believe while targeting the mind, the rest of the body and soul must also be explored. My clinical orientation is holistic and integrative to assist you in achieving the wellness you desire, where I select interventions from different theories and approaches to structure treatment that best meets your individual needs. I have training and background in behavior modification, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), eco-systemic family therapy (ESFT), and other practices including mindfulness, and exploring how to target nutrition I fully understand that it is not always easy to begin therapy and is a challenge to find the right therapist to meet your needs. I believe that a lot of therapeutic work rests in developing a safe space to build a collaborative, non-judgmental relationship where you can feel empowered as you begin or continue your mental health journey. My passion is to create this space, especially for individuals identifying as BIPOC or with other marginalized groups to increase access to quality, well-rounded care while working through issues related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, life transitions, self-esteem, OCD, race-related trauma and stress, parenting, relationship issues, grief, or chronic pain.
