About

I have over 30 years experience treating adults, children and adolescents individually and with their families. I help my patients find strategies to cope with and overcome social, emotional and behavioral difficulties associated with Anxiety, Trauma, Depression, Asperger Syndrome. I conduct independent psycho-educational evaluations to determine a child's learning style, strengths/weaknesses and eligibility for special education services. I consult with districts/families and advocate on behalf of students with learning disabilities and emotional issues in the Massachusetts area.

I use an eclectic, interactive approach including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Family Systems, Relaxation and Visualization, EMDR, and other practice modalities as appropriate.

I am a bilingual clinician (Russian/English), which allows for sensitivity with my patients who were born outside of United States. It also helps to differentiate between second-language development and specific learning disabilities.
