About

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! Whatever struggles you are facing, therapy is a courageous step towards personal growth and healing! I am Tanya Barnes, a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in Idaho and a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Oregon. I am a Person-Centered therapist, trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and The Flash Technique (trauma intervention), with a foundation of Humanistic Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I have been practicing for the past seven years and have worked with a variety of people, mental health symptoms, and life stressors.

Feeling stuck? Or overwhelmed by life? I work with various individuals who are struggling with mental health symptoms related to trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and depression. As well as individuals who are experiencing life challenges such as unhealthy relationships, life changes, job concerns, situations where they feel “stuck” and every day stressors.

I believe people can grow and change when given the time and space to speak their truth and develop their personal insight. Whether you choose to address past experiences, present challenges, personal healing, or desire to establish better relationships, I offer a calm and impartial space to address your individual needs.
