My name is Tania Milton. I am a Psychotherapist at Levan Counseling and Consulting. I recently received a Masters of Science in Co-Occurring Disorders Recovery Counseling through Metro State University and I am working toward licensure. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Social Work through St. Catherine’s University. I have worked in a variety of positions, with people from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, most being low-income. My background has ranged from domestic violence, women in recovery, family advocacy, housing case management, autism (children & adults), and inpatient psychiatry. As a person of color, I understand how hard it can be to entrust someone you do not know with your innermost feelings and thoughts. As your therapist, I will provide an environment that is genuine, safe, supportive, and non-judgmental. Whatever your motivation is for seeking therapy, we can work together as a team to determine what your strengths are, and then determine how to use those strengths to get you where you would like to be in life.
