About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, and I obtained my Masters of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults on a variety of struggles such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, gender/identity, autism, parenting/family issues, as well as OCD and bipolar disorder.

I primarily operate from a person-centered perspective and utilize various modalities to best fit a client's individual needs, such as CBT and interpersonal psychotherapy. I also utilize the evidence-based powers of play when working with children, often ages 3-12 years old, to help them to process difficult emotions in a healing and supportive environment.

My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and evidence-based practices. I believe in creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through personalized treatment plans, I work collaboratively with clients and their families to enhance overall quality of life.
