Sometimes life can get complicated. It can help to have someone to talk with. Together we can develop a safe, supportive relationship that helps you to discover the path that works best for you. I have worked in helping professions for over 10 years, and during that time have discovered a passion for helping others make positive changes in their lives. My approach is a blend of evidence based practices, including cognitive behavior therapy and mindfulness, with a strong focus on building a supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help you develop your strengths and take concrete actions toward lasting wellness. I specialize in providing support and counseling for adults with intellectual disability and for individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injury. I am also available to work with parents, partners, and affected others. Additional areas of interest include life transitions, grief and loss, and managing moods and/or anxiety. I know that it can often be difficult to find a good match with a provider knowledgeable about specific needs. If you know of anyone who might be interested in my services, please share my information or reach out to me directly regarding any referrals.
