About

My goal is to help shift mindsets and help navigate the discussion as to why caring for your mental health is just as imperative as your physical health. It can be difficult to begin the journey of therapy, talk about our traumas, and make the connections needed to begin our healing process. As your therapist, I will ensure that a safe, non-judgmental space is created so you can be equipped with the tools to live your most fulfilling life. I strive to help my clients find peace, comfort, and self-love that will guide them through life in a meaningful way.

Growing up as a first-generation South Asian Muslim woman in America came with many unexpected challenges. I’ve experienced many instances where I realized how someone’s overall identity (including culture, religion, race etc.) impacts the way they are treated and the way in which they handle conflict. I want my clients to know that it is normal to struggle.

Your trauma is not your fault, and I will ensure that we work together to find healing and strength. Whether you are experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, cultural/familial problems, etc., I aim to help my clients process their thoughts and feelings by creating a safe therapeutic bond.
