If you are reading this, it is because you believe that you or someone you care about would benefit from therapy. I know that the search can seem overwhelming and the process daunting, so I make it a priority to create a safe, comfortable, and professional therapeutic space, no matter your difficulties, background or needs. I strive to create a trusting relationship to navigate with you whatever it is that brings you into therapy. My areas of expertise include life transitions, adjustments (acculturation, parenting, etc), learning disabilities (ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.), chronic illness, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and trauma. While my treatment approach is eclectic, I pull from a variety of modalities depending on your needs. I am trained in several evidence-based treatments including CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, and the evolving PRT. I also incorporates stress-reduction, mindfulness, and other techniques, when appropriate, to provide you with practical skills for your situation. I see patients via Zoom, as well as in-person, with appropriate social distancing and all other precautionary measures as needed. I am here to navigate with you on your journey to meaning and fulfillment. I consider it both a great honor and responsibility when you choose me as your therapist!
