About

I am excited to help people that have struggles with depression and anxiety. I have an extensive career in working for Child Protective Services (not as a therapist) but understand the impact of childhood trauma and its impact on children and as they grow into adulthood. I am compassionate and believe that everyone has the ability to change and can be resilient. I also have experience counseling in domestic violence, anger management and trauma. I conducted Batterer's Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) for over 5 years.

My specialties are domestic violence, anger management and trauma. I mostly utilize Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused techniques. I am also able to address issues of depression, anxiety, loss and grief.

I truly believe that people have the power to change. People are often more resilient that they believe or give themselves credit for. I have always enjoyed working with people to overcome difficulties in their lives. Challenges in our lives can make us stronger, but sometimes we just need extra help.
