About

I was born and raised in Newark, NJ. I attended Montclair State University for my first two years of undergrad in hopes of becoming a high school math teacher. Not until I served in the U.S. Military did I realize my strong desire to help people overcome their battles associated with mental health. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2021 from the University of Arizona. I am completing my Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.

I have experience in the social work field, where I was last employed with the Department of Family and Children Services in Georgia. During my employment with the department, I gained experience working with families and children from various backgrounds and demographics, some suffering from traumatic experiences or mental diagnoses.

I have a fresh perspective and insight on the counseling journey and look forward to applying modalities that work for the client. Through my training and experience, my ultimate goal is to support the community experiencing behavioral and emotional struggles.
