I am Tammy Prickett, a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. I enjoy helping people reach their goals and potential through therapy. I provide therapy primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral and solution-focused approach. Doing so gives you the skills needed to change your thinking and focus on solutions to the areas you're interested in changing. I work with adult clients of all ages and at various stages of the life cycle. I take a nonjudgmental approach to listening and giving suggestions. It is important to allow space for clients to express themselves freely. I provide a safe space for this to occur. Providing therapy is meaningful work that allows the opportunity to help people work through depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. When it comes to setting goals, I believe in meeting the clients where they are and developing goals that will help them answer the questions that brought them to therapy. During our first session, I will tell you about me, review expectations, and learn about you and your needs.
