About

I believe strongly in the importance of counseling grounded in respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe counseling is not just about feeling better but being better at dealing with the feelings we experience as we face life’s challenges. With the support of someone to help us process or teach us new skills difficult times can become times of growth. I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds but particularly enjoy working with people going through life changes and middle school and high school youth.

I specialize in grief & loss, cross cultural issues, faith integration, trauma, and cross cultural issues. I also have specialized training in TF-CBT and Grief and Loss for youth. As an adult TCK, I can offer unique support for those dealing with cross-cultural adjustment and cultural identity questions.

Finding a new counselor is challenging and it's important you feel comfortable with your therapist. Reach out for a free consultation to talk about how I might be able to support you or your family during this time.
