About

Things happen to us everyday which impact and change who we are and how we though the world. My twenty-five plus years of working in this field with individual's of diverse ages, cultures and back grounds have proven this to be true. I believe my role as a therapist is to support others in identifying "their" purpose while growing their mental, emotional and physical health. The passion for supporting others in the process of gaining insight and identifying positive changes toward their future is "my" purpose.

Over the last 25+ years I have worked with adolescent youth, adults, couples, groups and court ordered/court mandated clients. Many of whom have experienced significant traumas. Through the use of Adlerian/Family Systems therapy, EMDR and other forms of talk therapy, I believe successful mental/behavioral well-being is attainable.

Trauma and the significant impact it has on the individuals mind, body and soul is what motivated my desire to become a therapist and gain certification as an EMDR practitioner. By "taking the sting out" of the traumatic memory, one is able to move forward no longer defined by their traumatic past.
