About

Life has a way of "lifing" more than we'd like to admit and recent years for Black, POC, and other marginalized populations have been more challenging than ever. As a Black female therapist, who prides herself on making difficult situations bearable and journeying with clients to wellness, my greatest joy is fostering hope. With a background in social work and divinity, the goal is to create a safe space whether one incorporates spirituality into treatment or not. I specialize in treating trauma, depression, PTSD, and anxiety grounded in broken attachments from a caregiver or faith organization. View 4 Photos

I'm trained in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, and use a host of other modalities to tailor treatment to your needs. I work with cultural competence and cultural humility. I use an integrative approach to the various body-based modalities I’m trained in to foster a pathway to wellness.

If you are feeling broken, lost, unsafe, or simply unheard, I promise an attentive ear that will hear your heartbeat. Events that happen in life do not have to hold us captive from living full, fruitful, hope-filled lives. May your hope become full! I am licensed in New Jersey and Virginia.
