I read this simple sentence several years ago: You have survived 100% of your worst days. It’s my go-to reminder we are all built for survival. I believe each individual holds within them a unique set of strengths and skills to help navigate life and all its challenges. During times of change, stress, or crisis, we often feel unable to access and use the skills and tools that could help us move forward. Issues like depression or anxiety can leave us feeling powerless. My passion is helping people of all ages and backgrounds discover and utilize the power and skills deep within them so they can achieve their goals. I work from a strengths based, solution focused perspective. I believe in challenging negative thoughts and self-talk to promote empowerment and growth. I have experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting as well as providing grief counseling to adults. I feel comfortable working with a wide variety of mental health issues. Reaching out for help takes courage and strength. I seek to provide a safe and warm environment, a place where anyone who enters feels heard and feels confident they will not be judged. Feel free to contact me for an introductory call or to schedule a session.
