Therapy offers the opportunity to learn about oneself. I provide a safe environment for this exploration. In our work together we will form a collaborative partnership where I will be an active participant and give honest, direct feedback. Through this process of growth and discovery, my goal is to help you strengthen and access your own inner wisdom. In my practice, I work with clients on issues of anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma, as well as relationship issues, identity issues and frustration in career path. I utilize my experience as a therapist in top addiction and eating disorder treatment centers.
Overall, I believe in assessing approaches that best fit the individual's needs. While I am trained in a variety of approaches, I work mainly from a psychodynamic perspective. This means our work will focus on understanding repetitive patterns and draw on dynamics in our own therapeutic relationship to guide this process.
I am passionate about my work and welcome the chance to meet you. I would be happy to set up a free consultation call to learn more about your needs and discuss if working together would be a fit.
