My clients come to counseling seeking support and understanding. They want to make sense of themselves, their experiences, and the world around them. In my sessions, I offer a nonjudgmental and accepting space for clients to explore what they truly want out of life, what seems to be in the way, and how we can overcome those barriers. Research shows that a trusting therapeutic relationship is paramount to success in therapy, so I prioritize getting to know my clients and building that trust. In my clinical practice I value curiosity, compassion, and practicality. My goal is to collaborate with clients to develop individualized skills and strategies that will work for them. I know that deciding to connect with a new therapist takes a lot of courage, and I commend your bravery in taking this step.
