Takiya has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Old Dominion University. She received a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Takiya is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP), and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Takiya is a Registered Supervisor with the Virginia Board of Counseling for residents in LPC, LMFT, and CSAC.
